The Force Behind DPC
David Jobson
David Jobson is the Founder and Director of Darwin Park Construction, bringing over 46 years of experience in the construction industry. After completing a Certificate in Construction Crafts Supplementary Studies and an Advanced Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery at Brooklyn Technical College in Birmingham, he honed his skills as a carpenter before progressing into leadership and business development. He also holds a Licentiateship, further demonstrating his expertise in the field.
Now working alongside Co-Director Matthew Jobson-Bird, David has played a key role in securing and delivering large-scale projects as principal contractors.
Combining his technical expertise, strategic leadership, and industry knowledge, which have been instrumental in driving Darwin Park’s continued success.
Matthew Jobson-Bird
Matthew is a Co-Director and has spent the last decade at Darwin Park, working closely with high-level clients as a principal contractor. As a client-facing director, he focuses on building strong relationships while overseeing project delivery from start to finish. His hands-on approach ensures that every project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Matthew is IOSH qualified and first aid trained, bringing both safety expertise and leadership to every build. His commitment to clear communication and seamless project management makes him a trusted partner for clients and stakeholders alike.
